SEMRA responded to a callout on the Galtee mountains near Lough Curra yesterday.
A walker suffered a fall and picked up a lower leg injury on the ice road.
Medical treatment was provided by SEMRA and the person was stretchered to a suitable location for helicopter extraction.
Team members then supported Coast Guard Rescue 117 as who arrived on scene to facilitate the evacuation.
