Dwyer family meet with MEP’s

The parents of a Tipperary man who was shot dead in Bolivia almost three years ago have today met with MEP's in the European Parliament.

Caroline and Martin Dwyer from Ballinderry are trying to find out why their son Michael was killed by state police in the South American country amid claims he was part of a plot to assassinate President Evo Morales.

Speaking on Tipp Today following their meeting, Martin Dwyer said they got a very good response from the MEP's they met and is hoping that a cross-party effort might help them secure the answers they need.
