There was a slight drop in the number of unemployed people last month accord to the CSO.
The latest figures show the rate of youth unemployment now stands at 15.1 per cent down from 15.9 per cent in September.
Overall 168,800 people are signing on and the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate is at 7.7 per cent for October – that marks a drop of just over 4,000 on the previous month.
