Deputy Michael Lowry denies reports of Revenue officials calling to his home twice.

North Tipp Deputy Michael Lowry has denied reports that Revenue officials had visited his home twice in the space of a week.

The Irish Independent says officials from the Revenue Office first visited the house last week – but the former Fine Gael Minister was out of the country at the time.

However Michael Lowry has told Tipp FM News this morning that Revenue officials only called yesterday and denied the suggestion that he was out of the country last week.

The raid is linked to an investigation into the now Independent TD's financial affairs.

Political Correspondent with the Sunday Independent Daniel McConnell says Deputy Lowry has questions to answer.
