Two groups of 30 people visited the county recently to view a number of renewable energy sites including the eco village in Cloughjordan, Templederry community windfarm and the Bothy cafe in Borrisoleigh.
The group included people from Italy, Belgium, Holland, Turkey, Finland, Hungary, Spain and Germany.
Dr Vincent Carraghar is the Energy Manager with the Tipperary Energy Agency who organised the visits and says that we are leading the way in renewable energy.
