Cycle Against Suicide in Tipp town and Clonmel today

The hundreds of cyclists taking part in this year’s event left St Anne's Secondary School in Tipp town this morning.

The cyclists are due in Clonmel this afternoon where they will have their lunch break at the High School…they are due to depart from there at 2.15 this afternoon and make their way to Waterford via Carrick on Suir.

The High School has over 700 male students and Principal Karen Steenson says they've had experience with suicide among the pupils but they are starting to see a change in attitude among this generation.
