A Cashel woman remains in Garda custody in connection with an assault at a house in the town earlier this week.
She was arrested following the incident in the Slí Chormaic estate on the Old Road last Wednesday night.
A man in his 40s suffered facial injuries in the assault and was taken to South Tipp General Hospital.
The woman in her 20s is being questioned at Cahir Garda Station.
