Average prices, measured by the CPI, were zero-point-three percent lower than they were 12 months previously.
Transport costs fell by almost six percent, mainly due to lower petrol and diesel prices, with drops also recorded in furnishings, household equipment and household maintenance.

There were also decreases in clothing and footwear, electricity, gas and other fuels.
While the cost of miscellaneous goods and services, education, hotels and restaurants and health all went up.
