A 19 year old man is due to appear in court in Tipperary town today charged with a spate of thefts across the country.
Marius Gheorghe with an address of Prussia Street, Dublin 7 was arrested in Thurles last Thursday in connection with the incidents.
He appeared at a special sitting of Nenagh District Court charged with 10 counts of distraction thefts in a number of counties including Tipperary, Cork, Galway and Waterford.
He was remanded in custody and is due before Tipperary Town District Court today.
