The new centre will be located at Unit 7, Castle Brand, Tyone, Nenagh.
It will have four drive through lanes and one walk through with capacity for 500 tests per day if required.
The Tyone centre will open officially at 2pm this afternoon.
The current test facility at the Derg Centre will close once the Tyone centre is open.
