Tipperary remains towards the bottom of the list when it comes to the incidence rate of Covid-19.

The rate in the Premier County now stands at just under 116 cases per 100,000 people after eight new cases were reported in the county yesterday evening.

That was part of a national total of 270 cases, which pushed the national incidence rate down to 161 cases per 100,000 people.

One further person has also died from Covid-19 according to last night’s figures.
