Covid-19 rate on the increase in Tipp

Tipperary’s Covid-19 incidence rate remains stubbornly high in comparison to the dropping national average.

270 new cases and 16 further deaths were reported last night, bringing the national incidence rate to 151 cases per 100,000 people.

However Tipperary’s rate has increased to 124 cases per 100,000 people after 17 new cases were reported – a county total only surpassed by Dublin, Donegal and Roscommon.
