Cork plane crash inquest to hear more evidence

Further evidence will be heard today at the inquest into the deaths of 6 people in a plane crash in Cork three years ago.

They suffered multiple blunt trauma injuries – and died almost instantly.

A survivor told the coroner yesterday how she was terrified she'd be burned alive after the plane hit the ground.

One of the survivors, 57 year old Heather Elliott, was en route to visit her mother in Cork when the crash happened in February 2011.
