Console insists business as usual amid mismanagement allegations

The chief executive Paul Kelly and several directors of the charity resigned last night, following allegations of deception and mismanagement, in a report by the RTÉ Investigations Unit on Prime Time.

The report revealed concerns about the charity, which provides counselling for people bereaved by suicide.

It says that when applying for state grants, the charity on several occasions altered accounts.
