Sean Ross Abbey in Roscrea was run by the Sacred Heart Sisters from 1930 until 1970 as a mother and baby home.
It's estimated that close to 500 babies were sent to America for adoption from the North Tipp home.
A commemoration event will be held from 2 o'clock tomorrow in the baby cemetery.
Local Fianna Fail Councillor Michael Smith says it's important to remember those who were born there.
