A County Tipperary restaurant was among 12 outlets ordered to close in May due to breaches of food safety legislation
China Kitchen on Market Street in Clonmel had to close for 2 days in early May. It was one of 6 which fell foul of the Food Safety Authority of Ireland Act while the remainder came under EC regulations.
A bakery in Navan, Co Meath, was also prosecuted last month by the HSE for breaches in food safety.
