Templemore will have an extra ten thousand Euro after a decision at the monthly meeting of the Templemore-Thurles Municipal District.
Councillors agreed that the lights in Templemore were not up to standard last year and the extra allocation will help improve the situation for next Christmas.
But Cllr Michael Smith says he feels that Roscrea's budget is not up to scratch for a town it's size.
