Despite the demise of Clonmel Borough Council this year one of the traditions of the local authority is continuing this Christmas.
The annual Christmas Fund has been launched by the Mayor of the Clonmel – Cahir Borough District Martin Lonergan.
He is asking people to donate what they can to the appeal as there are many in our communities who are struggling to meet the additional costs associated with Christmas.
This year the appeal will donate to charities across the Borough District which now takes in Clonmel, Cahir and surrounding villages.
