Last week a leaked document revealed the Clonmel health facility could lose its round the clock A&E service if the government presses ahead with further health cut spending this year.
However, Government representatives played down the reports saying the document was listing options for the Health Minister.
Local councillors are set to attend the HSE Forum South meeting this afternoon.
