Cappawhite National School has been given the green light to go ahead with plans to improve facilities for students and teachers.
The Department of Education have made funding available for the West Tipp school which will soon be able to proceed with a major expansion of the current building.
The extension will see two additonal classrooms, a sensory room and a quiet room for special needs students.
