Call for North Tipperary support services to be highlighted.

Support services for people in North Tipperary affected by domestic violence and abuse are calling for greater awareness of the help that is available.

Its one of the findings of a new report by the Mid West Regional Advisory Committee on Violence Against Women published by Minister Jan O'Sullivan today.

The findings follow a series of Speak Up cafes across the region including Nenagh where up to 60 user providers gave their views on the services currently available.

Coordinator of Ascend Domestic Abuse Services in North Tipperary Raybia Ali says lack of awareness is on of the key issues.
