Tipperary Fianna Fail TD Jackie Cahill has been appointed the parties Junior Spokesperson on Food Forestry and Horticulture.
The Thurles representative is a former President of the ICMSA and brings considerable experience to the portfolio.
Deputy Cahill says one of the first issues he will be tackling is the restrictions being placed on those planning of getting into forestry.
