Local off licence owner Michael Heffernan says the plans simply don't suit Kickham Street.

Mary Costigan from Costigan’s Pharmacy on Kickham Street echoed the calls to have the plaza located in the area between the two banks on the towns Main Street.

She told Fran Curry the entrance to the Market Yard would be much more suitable than Kickham Street.
