Supermarket chain Lidl are seeking permission to redevelop its Tipp Town store.
It has lodged an application with Tipperary County Council seeking to demolish the existing store at Bank Place and construct a larger premises on the same site.
The planning application also includes provision of 114 car parking spaces, including two electric vehicle charging units.
The Council is due to make a decision on the application in mid March.
