2023 Best of Tipp winners announced

If you’re in the Thurles area this morning then Sos Beag Coffee appears to be the place to go for your caffeine fix.

The café on Liberty Square took Gold for Best Coffee in the Best of Tipp Awards at the Anner Hotel last night.

Among the other category winners were Lyons in Clonmel for Best Takeaway, The Arch Bar in Thurles for Best Pub, Best Boutique went to Klassy Lady in Cahir while Tipp FM listeners voted Koolkutz Hair Salon in Kilsheelan as Best Hairdressers.

Mary Kate Maher of Sos Beag Coffee was thrilled with their award.

“It’s brilliant – I’m delighted. We’re only open just under two years now so it’s a great achievement and we’re really happy with it.

“We have a great team of staff to be fair to them so we wouldn’t be here without them or our lovely customers – they voted us to get here.”

The Local Enterprise Office Tipperary, which supports business growth throughout the county, is a partner in Tipp FM’s The Best of Tipp awards.
