The airline says it carried a total of nine million passengers last month, up from 7.8 million the same time last year.
The number of seats it fills on each flight – the load factor – also rose from 84 to 91 percent.

In a statement, Ryanair says the increases are due to lower fares, better service and stronger forward bookings for its summer schedule.
