The Irish Blood Transfusion Service will hold a clinic in Cahir this evening as they bid to maintain vital supplies.
3,000 blood donations are needed each week in Ireland but just 3% of the population donate.

For those who won’t be able to attend the clinic in Cahir this evening – there will be clinics in Clonmel next week.
Speaking on Tipp today IBTS Donor Services manager Ann O'Donovan said donations are always needed.
