Five matches, involving six counties, will take place at Semple Stadium over the next two days in both hurling and football – the highlight on the Tipperary radar will be Sunday's Munster Senior Hurling Final against Waterford.
Shops and restaurants in the town are expecting a busy few days ahead.
Gardaí are advising match goers to park in designated car parks and in the direction of home to make it easier to get out of the town following the matches.
