This night three weeks ago, over 8,000 people turned out to watch their heroes, the senior hurling panel, train for the last time before they faced Kilkenny in the All Ireland Final.
That game has now been dubbed 'the greatest hurling final of all time' and after finishing in a draw the neighbouring counties are set to battle it out again this Saturday evening in Croke Park.
Tonight's session is once again open to the public and gets underway from 7.30 at the home of hurling – Semple Stadium.
Meanwhile, the race for tickets is continuing and while a limited amount were put on sale yesterday by the County Board, time is running out for fans to get their passes for Saturday's match.
Elsewhere, Irish Rail is advising those planning to travel by train to Dublin this weekend to book online as space is filling up fast. Drivers meanwhile should allow plenty time for their journeys as there are roadworks at Newland's Cross on the outskirts of Dublin and delays should be expected there while there will also be the regular weekend traffic to contend with.
