Three men have been arrested by police investigating the murder of a prominent loyalist paramilitary in Northern Ireland.
46-year-old John Boreland, a member of the Ulster Defence Association, was shot in north Belfast last month.
Two men, aged 33 and 61, have been detained in the city, while a 29-year-old man has been arrested in north Ayrshire in Scotland.
