Ardfinnan bridge plans to be discussed

The crossing is reduced to a traffic light controlled one-way system for over a year which has led to considerable anger among some locals.

Vital remedial works are needed on the bridge with much debate as to whether it should remain one-way when the works are finally carried out or revert to the old 2-way system.

The Ardfinnan Community Council has organised a meeting for next Saturday evening at 7 o'clock.

Local independent representative Martin Lonergan says it’s important that people attend as some locals are in favour of the Councils proposals.
