Appeal of Apple tax ruling gets Dáil backing

TDs have voted in favour of plans to appeal the Apple Tax ruling.

Fine Gael, Fianna Fáil, Labour and the Independent Alliance joined forces to back the appeal last night.

It was after Michael Noonan admitted to the Dáil he couldn't say how much it would cost.

But he insisted Ireland would win the appeal, as Apple's tax loophole was also available to everyone else
