Appeal lodged against works in Newport

An appeal has been lodged against works at a retail outlet in Newport.

Tipperary County Council granted approval last month for the retention of developments at Ryan’s Centra & Fuel Sales forecourt on the Limerick Road.

These consisted of what were described as minor elevation issues and ancillary site works. 

The application was first lodged with the local authority in December of last year – further information was requested in February which was only submitted in August.

A third party appeal has now been lodged with An Bord Pleanala who are due to rule on the matter by mid-February.
