Anger over moor charges for Carrick rescue

Carrick River Rescue says one of its rigid inflatable’s has been moored intermittently over the past number of years for safety reason and there has been no issue.

However they have now received a notice from Tipperary County Council that they need to apply for a permit to do this.

Spokesperson Michael Hickey has said he is furious and says they’ve never come across this before.
