Amnesty says refugee plan is not working

Amnesty International says although the country has taken in more three million asylum seekers and refugees, it is struggling to cope.

The charity says Turkey has difficulty processing asylum applications, integrating and resettling refugees and providing assistance.

It says the EU is ignoring its obligations to protect refugees by sending them to a country which is not safe.

Amnesty International's Colm O'Gorman says the plan is reckless and illegal.
