The decision to allocate part of the old Roscrea Courthouse to a local group has been welcomed.
Age Friendly Roscrea will now have use of a section of the building in Parkmore.
Tipperary County Councillors approved the move at their recent monthly meeting.
Local Councillor Michael Smith says groups like this can help the council ensure that Tipperary is an age friendly county.
