Aer Lingus Labour Court talks underway.

The negotiations between management and IMPACT officials broke down last week – after three days of talks.

As a result – the union served the airline with notice of two more 24-hour strikes next Monday and Wednesday.

Transport Minister Leo Varadkar is calling for the threat of work stoppages to be lifted during the talks.

However Michael Landers from IMPACT says the union has not been asked to do so by the Labour Court.
