Up to 150 people gathered for a public meeting in the Excel last night to come up with an action plan to tackle problems facing the area.

It was organised by a new non political group – Job for Tipp which consists of representatives from the business community, voluntary organisations and concerned citizens who feel the area has been largely ignored by successful government.
