High-tech company Pivotal will be offering roles in software engineering, technical support, operational and administrative roles.
The jobs will be officially announced later by the Taoiseach Enda Kenny.
Our business editor Vincent Wall says it is part of a 100 million euro investment:
“The company is partially owned by EMC – that's the data storage giant company that's currently merging with Dell” he said.
“It's to invest up to 100 million euro over the next five years in establishing a new office in Dublin and expanding its existing Cork base” he added.
