Martin Hopkins passed away last November from pancreatic cancer.
Next month, friends of the former Garda sergeant will complete a 212km memorial cycle from his home place in Virginia in County Cavan to the family home in Clonmel on August 10th.
Martin’s wife, Karen Hopkins and Clonmel Superintendent and co-ordinator of the cycle, Willie Leahy joined Fran in studio on Monday.
