Tipp FM survey finds south Tipperary cheaper for motor fuel

South Tipperary is the cheapest in the County for both petrol and diesel.

The second part of Tipp FM's County wide fuel survey has found that Clonmel is the cheapest for petrol, while Tipperary Town is the cheapest for diesel.

The second part of our fuel survey took in the South Tipp region.

We found that the cheapest petrol is in Clonmel, at the Apple Garage on the Ardfinnan road, at 158.8 per litre of petrol.

The cheapest diesel was in Tipp Town, at Low Lrice Fuels on the Limerick road, where a litre of diesel will set you back 1.46.9.

This means that on comparison, South Tipp is cheaper for  petrol by a tiny margin of 0.1 cent and is cheaper for diesel by a cent.

The dearest you'll pay in South Tipp is at the Campus garage on Friar Street in Cashel, where a litre of petrol is 171 per litre for petrol and 165 per litre for diesel.

In South Tipp, there is a huge margin of 12.2 cent between the dearest and cheapest petrol and 18.1 cent between the cheapest and dearest diesel.
