Red Cross seek shelter for new Clonmel ambulance

Clonmel Red Cross is appealing for the public’s help to find a shed for their new ambulance.

The voluntary organisation is receiving a new 181 ambulance costing €96,500 – the results of years of fundraising and the support of the Irish Red Cross.

They want to protect the vehicle as much as they can by keeping it out of the elements – but don’t have much to spend on somewhere to store it.

Darren Ryan, Secretary of the Clonmel Branch of the Red Cross, says they’re trying to get as long a lifespan as they possibly can out of the new vehicle.
