Tipp FF member leaves party due to lack of support during election

A North Tipp local election candidate is to leave Fianna Fail citing a lack of support from the party as the reason.

Brendan Murphy stood in the Nenagh Electoral Area last May but failed to get elected.

In the intervening months he has remained active as a community representative.

However speaking on Tipp Today Brendan Murphy said he still hopes to represent the people of Nenagh.
