Experts in New Zealand say it's possible another earthquake could be on the way, following two powerful tremors.
At least two people were killed and homes flattened in the first quake, north-east of Christchurch.
It damaged roads and buildings and set off hundreds of strong aftershocks.
New Zealand's Prime Minister John Key says getting people out of the area is proving difficult.
