Calls for hill walkers not to underestimate weather

Calls have been made for walking groups not to underestimate weather conditions when hiking.

It comes as a group of 26 had to be rescued from the Galtee mountains after getting disorientated on their descent yesterday afternoon.

The South Eastern Mountain Rescue Association with the aid of gardai from Cahir, Thurles and Tipp Town ensured all members of the group made it down Galteemore safely.
