Court affirms fine against Tipperary farmer.

A North Tipperary farmer who drove a Massey Ferguson at a car owned by a Department of Agriculture vet and pointed an imitation firearm at Gardai has lost an appeal against his conviction for neglecting his cattle.

Mark Kennedy of Rossestown, Thurles had previously been found guilty of 18 seperate charges and fined €3,600 following an inspection at his farm in 2008.

The order was affirmed at Nenagh Circuit Court yesterday after the 40 year old failed to appeal the conviction.
