The annual Support Grant is being paid out today to the many Carers across the Premier County.
The grant of €1,700 will automatically be paid to around 6,000 Tipperary Carers who are in receipt of the weekly Carers Allowance.
Family Carers Ireland Tipperary manager Richie Molloy says the grant is a very welcome boost for carers but realistically won’t go very far.
