21-year-old Kieran Walsh from Killenaule Road, Fethard was last seen walking from the city in the direction of the station at around 1.20am.
He's 5'10″ in height, of stocky build and was wearing a black cardigan and navy jeans at the time of his dissapearance.
It's thought that Kieran may have been going to the Grannagh area of Waterford city.
Gardai want to speak to anyone – particularly motorists, taxi drivers or farmers – that may have seen him early yesterday morning.
