A fundraising night is being held in Thurles next month to support a Holycross man who has fallen ill.
51-year-old Jim Corcoran was diagnosed with lung and brain cancer in May, and efforts are being made by his friends to raise funds to help support Jim, his wife and three children as he undergoes treatment.
