The woman – who is in her late 30's – is currently being detained under section 4 of Criminal Justice Act.
The HSE has confirmed that it commenced an investigation following recent complaints, that the appropriate statutory authorities have been notified, and investigations are ongoing.
In a statement it added that all protective measures to ensure the welfare of their clients and residents are in place, and until investigations are complete into the alleged incident/s, it would be inappropriate to make any further comment.
